Mary Grace’s experience before Brighterly
This Brighterly math tutor had gone through a lengthy path before she decided to apply her knowledge on our platform. She started her career at Miriam Child Study Center as a preschool teacher.
Then, she moved to the next page of her story at PACE Academy, where she worked for up to 15 years. While consecutively holding the positions of Preschool Teacher, MTAP Coordinator, and School Supervisor, she gained invaluable experience in tutoring and other related activities, like teacher training, verifying lesson plans, and constructing knowledge check tests. It’s when she also managed to outline her main drive about the career:
“I love seeing the improvement, the metamorphosis, of my students' academic growth.”
For me, the progress of each student is everything. While working predominantly with preschoolers and elementary students at that time, I saw how they made their first steps in the subjects — these are the moments I cherish most.
During the following years, Mary Grace struggled to build on her available skills and gain new qualifications. Thus, for four years, she worked as a School Principal at Precious Gem Academy and Agape Springs Nature School, where she conducted trainings and evaluations for tutors involved with subjects like mathematics and language arts.
In recent years, she was primarily involved with founding and promoting the Agape Home Academia Learning Hub. It was when Mary Grace had to communicate closely with parents and teachers while also lecturing on Math and English.
