About the Brighterly Math Scholarship

Our team believes that every child deserves professional math help. Since private math tutoring can cost hundreds per month, the Brighterly Math Scholarship aims to make scholarship math support and online math tutors accessible for families who need them most.

The Brighterly equity scholarship is open to U.S. students in grades 1-8 from low socioeconomic backgrounds, allowing them to receive structured math instruction and build solid problem-solving skills. Each year, one winner is awarded a $500 cash prize and 6 full months of 1:1 math lessons with a certified Brighterly instructor to unlock their full potential in STEM.

At Brighterly, we don’t see math as a barrier to success – we believe that math confidence built early has a compounding effect. This scholarship is a chance for families who can’t afford long-term tutoring to help their child walk into math class prepared and build a solid foundation for college, with no financial stress.

Apply for the Brighterly Math Scholarship today and kickstart your child’s bright future!
