The Ukrainian-founded math and reading educational platform joins ASU+GSV event for leaders in the education and skills sector.

Las Vegas, NV – May 12, 2026 – The CEO of Brighterly, Eugene Kashuk, joined the 17th annual ASU+GSV Summit in San Diego. Established in 2010, ASU+GSV Summit is the premier global forum for leaders reshaping the $8 trillion edtech industry today.

This year, the event brought together 7,000+ participants and innovative leaders shaping the future of education. The 2026 ASU+GSV Summit focused on AI adaptation, workforce development, and lifelong learning under the “The Power of Fusion” theme. The main idea was how learning, work, capital and tech are synthesizing in 2026 and the years to come.

Here are our 3 takeaways from the summit

  • The narrative around AI is shifting. This year, the conversation wasn’t about if AI belongs in the classroom – it was about how to make it work practically. The companies are implementing AI to make the learning experience better and more responsive to students’ needs.
  • ESA programs are expanding. From 3 states to 20+, ESA programs are taking the U.S. families by storm. With funding going directly to families, parents are seeking alternatives to the traditional classroom, and online math and reading platforms are becoming their go-to solutions.
  • K-12 B2C is still unknown territory. There are many solutions for K-12 math and reading learning, but the leadership gap is still enormous. Parents can’t find a trustworthy platform, and Brighterly is the platform to change that. The platform’s mission is to help children build foundational skills, all while having a little bit of fun in between, and more and more parents join each year.

“The future of learning won’t be decided by trends - but by what actually works for kids.”

That’s why Brighterly continues to stay human-first while building new tools that support learning in meaningful ways.

In fact, the company has been building on adaptive AI for some time. The platform combines customized 1:1 lessons with AI reports covering progress and patterns, and designs a solution that helps each student find that spark for math and reading subjects.
